• Primary author of the core services of a postpaid billing platform: XML billing parser, charging service and reporting service.
• Architected an event-driven invoice pipeline: bulk XML parsing with Spring Batch, Apache Kafka transport, PDF invoice generation and email notification, with Redis-backed handoff, compressed payloads and Oracle persistence.
• Improved Kafka reliability by introducing timeout backstops, stalled-producer detection and recovery, and explicit backpressure, eliminating silent processing stalls in the billing cycle.
• Built and published a shared Java contract library standardising Kafka topic naming, message compression and DTOs across 6 microservices, converting integration drift into compile-time errors.
• Designed the data layer across Oracle, PostgreSQL and ClickHouse with versioned migrations and ShedLock-coordinated distributed scheduling.
• Delivered core banking and ledger features on a digital wallet platform integrated with Apache Fineract: general ledger account statements, end-of-day CBS reporting, payment-type handling and transaction reversal via compensating entries.

• Built a reactive API gateway from scratch using Spring Cloud Gateway and WebFlux with ECDH key exchange, AES-GCM payload encryption, HMAC request signing and JWT validation.
